RO Water Purfiers
In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome the osmotic pressure and push the water from high concentration of contaminants to low concentration of contaminants. This means it’s being forced in reverse and the contaminated water is trying to move into the pure water, but because it must pass through a filter first, the contaminants get trapped and only the pure water passes through; resulting in the cleanest possible drinking water.
The filters need to be replaced between at after 6 months to or a year depending on the usage and quality of incoming water you receive. In the first year, you hardly need to make an expenditure on maintaining the RO water purifier.
TDS means concentration of dissolved particles or solids in water. TDS comprises of inorganic salts such as calcium, magnesium, chlorides, sulfates, bicarbonates, etc, along with many more inorganic organic compounds that easily dissolve in water.

Water Purfiers

Most “uv” lamps are rated at 10,000 hours, or slightly longer than one year.
The lamp should be replaced, as a rule, once every year.
No, disinfection by UV is a physical process and not a chemical process. UV does not alter the water chemistry and will not affect the taste or odour of your water. UV only addresses the microbiological concerns.

UV Water Purfiers Water Treatment Systems
A water softener works to treat hard water by removing the minerals responsible through a process called ion-exchange. Mineral ions that cause hardness and damage to your home are trapped by resin within the system and exchanged for sodium and potassium ions
Hard water can be a problem by making everyday tasks much less efficient. Hard water makes hair rough, and deposit scales on utensils, cutlery and plumbing. When water is softened, only about half the soap is needed to wash dishes or do laundry. Hard water can also be a skin irritant when used for bathing. Please see 4 below for more details.
The hardness of water is determined by parts per million (PPM) or grains per
gallon (GPG). Keep in mind that 17.1 PPM=1 GPG. Acceptable level of
hardness is between 120-170 Mg./liter.

Sand, Carbon and Iron Removers

o Chlorine is used in disinfecting water from pathogens. Unfortunately, Chlorine
may make water tasty but degrades its smell. Carbon water filters are
excellent at removing chlorine and it's by products, as well as removing the
taste and odour associated with it.
o Activated carbon water filters require very little maintenance, but we need to
change media on a time to time basis to ensure proper filtration at all times.
o Some activated carbon water filters are moderately effective at removing
some, but not all, heavy metals. Carbon water filters are helpful in removing
chloramine and hydrogen sulphide. The densely concentrated carbon water
filters mechanically remove particles down to 0.5 microns, including giardia
and cryptosporidium, turbidity, and particulates.
Iron specific resin developed by Marine Water Solutions is based on Marine Water Solutions technology,
which reduces iron from water to safe permissible level i.ei.e. 0.3 PPM.
If the water that is flowing through the taps of your house has a reddish tinge, smells foul or a distinct metallic taste, it most likely contains high levels of Iron. Pure water does not have any taste or smell but since it is a natural solvent, it rapidly dissolves minerals like iron and magnesium. Iron is an essential nutrient in our diets and although typically pure iron content in your drinking water is not harmful, there are several issues attached to such contaminated water. Impact on Skin
The presence of Iron in water used for bathing harms your skin
cells which lead to wrinkles and infections. This water reduces the effect of soaps
and shampoos and does not wash them off easily, leading to clogged skin that can

Impact on Health
Iron is classified as a secondary contaminant which means it
does not directly impact your health. However, bacteria feed off the iron and hence
